clipooo is an AI tool that makes tutorial videos for web apps. You open your app, describe in one sentence what should be shown, and an AI agent clicks through your product on camera. You get a finished how-to video with narration, subtitles and chapters. For desktop and phone apps you upload a screen recording instead, and clipooo turns it into the same kind of video. And for marketing, clipooo makes short promo videos from your website – or pitch videos from an idea.

Three steps. You open your app in the clipooo live studio and sign in if needed. You describe what the video should show, for example “show how to create a new project”. Then clipooo clicks through it with a visible cursor, writes the script and cuts the video.

Usually a few minutes from the moment you press record. The clicking itself takes well under a minute for most tasks; writing the script, voice-over and cutting take the rest.

An MP4 video, a subtitle file (.srt) and a chapter list you can paste into a YouTube description. On paid plans every website also gets a hosted video catalog your users can browse.

No. The AI operates the real product, and cursor movement, zoom on the clicked element, pauses for the narration and chapters are all added automatically.

Yes. In the live studio you get a real browser in the cloud. You sign in yourself – including two-factor codes or single sign-on – and navigate to where the video should start. Only then does the AI take over. You never hand over a password in the studio.

It does what your task says, in your real app. If you ask it to create a project, a project is created. It does not confirm “Really delete?” questions unless your task explicitly asks for that action. For demos we recommend a demo account or test data.

In the live studio: web apps that run in a browser. The agent reads buttons, links, fields and text from the page, so regular interfaces work best; parts drawn on a canvas, such as maps or design surfaces, are harder for it to operate. For everything else – desktop programs, phone apps, internal tools – upload a screen recording (“Bring your own clip”).

A video that fails does not cost you anything: the credit is returned automatically and you can try again, for example with a more precise description.

You upload a screen recording of any app and clipooo turns it into a tutorial video. It watches the recording, keeps the moments where something is done, cuts out waiting, loading, a wandering mouse and slips, writes the script and adds voice-over or subtitles, chapters and a zoom on typed fields.

Yes – for anything you can record on screen: programs on Windows, macOS or Linux, apps on iPhone, iPad or Android, and web apps the live studio can’t reach, such as an intranet behind a VPN. Nothing is installed; clipooo only sees the recording.

With what your system already has: on Windows the Snipping Tool (Record) or Win + Alt + R, on a Mac ⇧⌘5, on iPhone and Android the screen recording in the control center or quick settings. OBS or a downloaded Loom video work too. Upload MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV, up to 10 minutes and 500 MB.

No. The sound of your recording isn’t used – the narration is written and spoken for you. Pauses, searching and slips are cut out. Do the task once, calmly, and leave the rest to clipooo.

The same as any other video: one video from your plan, on every plan including Free. If clipooo can’t make a video from the recording, the video is returned automatically.

For web apps the live studio is usually quicker: you describe the task, an AI agent clicks, and after a redesign you simply run the sentence again. For desktop and phone apps, or recordings you already have, use your own recording. Both end up in the same catalog with the same look. Yes, just like with every other video: change a sentence and the video is cut again from your recording with the new narration, at no cost.

Launch films of 25–40 seconds for marketing instead of explaining. A promo film starts from your website: clipooo reads it, finds the one idea your product stands for, recreates the product in your colours and fonts and lets it act out what it does – then directs and animates every scene for this one film, cut to the beat, with a call to action. No templates. A pitch film starts from an idea: clipooo designs the product you have in mind and makes the same kind of film – before anything is built.

The video in three formats from one run: 16:9 for your website and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 for LinkedIn and feeds. With voice-over on paid plans, otherwise the words are on screen. Every video gets its own music and sound effects, composed on the same beat as the cuts – you can switch the mood or turn the music off.

Yes. Every word on screen, the spoken lines and the look (clean, bold, dark) can be changed; the video is rendered again from the same pictures without costing another video.

No. The motion is hand-made: a set of beats like a statement that slams in, your name revealed on a colour flood, your first screen building itself while a cursor presses your button, the page in motion, feature cards landing on a table, a wall of everything. Claude directs: it picks the beats, writes the words and chooses the pictures. That keeps every film sharp and on-brand.

It is paid in credits and depends on what you choose: 70 to 180 credits for 15 to 60 seconds, +10 per extra format, +20 with voice-over. A 30-second film in all three formats is 120 credits – about one month of Easy. The studio shows the price before you start.

Only of websites that are yours or that you may advertise for. clipooo reads the site, recreates its product in its own look and uses its texts and logo in the video.

No – the catalog is for tutorials. Download promo and pitch videos and upload them directly to X, Instagram, LinkedIn or your website; uploaded videos play right in the feed.

You choose the language of each video. Voice-over is available in 29 languages. The clipooo interface itself is available in English and German.

Yes, on every paid plan: +5 credits for a tutorial, +20 for a launch film. On the Free plan the video comes with subtitles instead of a voice.

Yes. You can download every video as MP4 on every plan, including Free, and use it wherever you like. The chapter list is formatted for YouTube descriptions.

A small help center for your product, hosted by clipooo at its own address. Your users find all published guides there, sorted by your categories, with search. It is part of the paid plans.

Two ways for your users to follow a guide while using your app. Floating keeps the video above all windows. Side by side opens your app next to the video. Both are built into the catalog player.

You pay in credits for what you make: a tutorial video is 10 credits, a 30-second launch film in three formats 120. Free includes 10 credits to try. Easy is €19 a month with 150 credits, Pro €39 with 500 credits, voice-over and the hosted catalog, Pro+ €129 with 1800 credits and 5 websites. Paid yearly, two months are free. Prices include VAT.

Buy a credit pack at any time – 120 credits for €29 or 400 credits for €79, also without a subscription. Bought credits never expire, and unused plan credits carry over to the next month.

Yes. Your plan then runs until the end of the paid period. After that your catalog goes offline; your videos are not deleted by the cancellation and you can still download them.

As long as they are used. On paid plans a video is deleted after six months without any views or downloads; you get an email three months and again two weeks before. On the Free plan the video is deleted after one month without activity.

On our own servers at Hetzner in the EU. The studio browser session is discarded when you close the studio.

To operate your app and write the script, the page content shown in the studio – or stills from your uploaded recording – is processed by Anthropic’s Claude. Voice-over is generated by ElevenLabs from the script. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Yes. You can delete single videos, and you can delete your account in the settings, which removes your videos and data and ends a running subscription.
